Help SMTP Settings
In this section you can configure SMTP connection for sending emails.
If the setting is not configured, the camera will not send emails.
Encryption
You can determine if an encrypted connection must be used.
If you use popular email services such as Yandex or Gmail, then encryption is required. In other cases, check this setting with your email provider.
Server
You must enter an SMTP server address in this field. For example, if you use Yandex email service, you must enter smtp.yandex.ru; if Mail.ru is used, smtp.mail.ru must be entered. This information may be out of date. You can get more detailed information from your email provider.
Port
Server connection port. Each email provider has a different port. For example, if you use Yandex or Mail.ru you must enter 465 in this field.
User
Username that will be used for authorization on the SMTP server. If you use email services such as Yandex, Gmail or Mail.ru, we recommend that you enter your email address in this field.
Sender
This field lets you specify the sender email address. This field is optional in case you use popular email services. However, we recommend that you fill in the field if you use a login without a domain or in the form of domain/username. If this field is not filled in, then login will be used when sending emails. Therefore, in order to avoid failures, we recommend that you specify the sender email address.
Password
You must enter your password for the authorization on the email service in this field.
